The Trio José was formed in 2009 in the city of São José dos Campos, in the interior of São Paulo. Initially the members were Danilo Moura (vocals and guitar), Victor Mendes (vocals, guitar) and Rodrigo Silva (cajon). Over the years, Victor Mendes and Danilo Moura explored different types of instrumentation in search of a sound with their own signature, drawing inspiration from the universe of country music and popular music. With their own compositions and partnerships with poets, such as Juca da Angélica and Paulo Nunes, the repertoire is presented
through the classic guitar and viola duo, added to the drums of Marcos Godoi and the electric bass of Chico Martins.
